All visitors to Bhutan require a visa to enter the country. Visa clearance must be obtained before coming to Bhutan except for Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals who can receive a visa on entry.
You will need to send us a photocopy of your passport with required information at least 4 weeks prior to date of travel. Passport should be valid for at least 6 months. The Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) will validate the information and issue a visa clearance letter, once the full payment of your holiday (including a USD $40 visa fee) has been received in Bhutan.
At your point of entry, you will be required to show your visa clearance letter, after which the visa will be stamped into your passport. Please note that travelers without a visa clearance document will not be permitted to board their flights to Bhutan.
